How "The Accidental Fat Chick" Hatched...

Welcome to The Accidental Fat Chick's new online home!

During the summer 0f 2008, I woke up one morning with a drive to live a healthy lifestyle. Since then, I've made many changes and lost nearly 50 pounds. Many of my friends and family members have come to me, asking about what I'm doing & how I'm doing it. While I certainly would never claim to be an expert, I'm happy to share what I've learned along the way.

So after careful thought... "The Accidental Fat Chick" has hatched... with the hope of helping at least one person and to be the accountability I need to finish what I started. :)

Thank you for visiting!!

A Dress for BOOBS

With just a couple days left to figure out what I'm taking to Chicago I drug myself out into the real world for a little shopping... the dress search yielded about four options and I ended up settling on this:
Sorry I don't have a pic of me in it, I tried unsuccessfully in the fitting room. The cut is flattering and it felt fairly comfy on... but OMG, it is soooooo short. Okay, probably not soooooo short, but compared to what I typically wear its SHORT, lol.

Without another shopping trip, this is the only alternative I have in my closet (at least that seems potentially nice enough):

I don't necessarily find this dress as figure friendly. But, it is longer and something I've comfortably worn several times.
What do you think? Which one is the winner?
Decisions. Decisions.

I am a new mom who is trying to get healthy. I recently started following your blog, and really enjoy your posts.

I started a blog of my own, and was recently given the Versatile Blogger award.

I hope you won't mind if I pass it onto you? If so, let me know and I'll remove your link from my post.

Take care,

They are both pretty but speaking from experience, something new always makes me feel a little more confident.

Whichever dress you choose, you'll look fabulous!
