With just a couple days left to figure out what I'm taking to Chicago I drug myself out into the real world for a little shopping... the dress search yielded about four options and I ended up settling on this:
Sorry I don't have a pic of me in it, I tried unsuccessfully in the fitting room. The cut is flattering and it felt fairly comfy on... but OMG, it is soooooo short. Okay, probably not soooooo short, but compared to what I typically wear its SHORT, lol.Without another shopping trip, this is the only alternative I have in my closet (at least that seems potentially nice enough):
I don't necessarily find this dress as figure friendly. But, it is longer and something I've comfortably worn several times.
What do you think? Which one is the winner?

They are both pretty but speaking from experience, something new always makes me feel a little more confident.
